Our planning fees are clearly listed on our website. You can find them here. Generally, there are 3 options:
Our financial planning fees can either be paid by check or be deducted from an investment account(s) as long as those accounts have been granted fee paying authorization and are under our Investment Adviser at Charles Schwab & Co.
Our firm was established in 2000 with the intention to help individuals and families manage their investment and retirement portfolios. Since then we have expanded our services well past portfolio management and into financial planning that focuses on helping clients stay in control of their financial plans to invest better, save money, and pay less in taxes.
Yes. We are 100% Fiduciary, 100% of the time. We are a Registered Investment Adviser ("RIA") which means we are legally obligated to put clients' best interest first. We are also CFP(R) Professionals and our Code of Ethics states that we must abide by a fiduciary duty.
Advisers at Wright Associates are Certified Financial Planners, Chartered Financial Analysts, or both! We take learning and professionalism seriously. We view the pursuit and attainment of graduate level credentials as necessary to demonstrate our passion for fiduciary financial advice, the establishment of standards of conduct, as a base level of knowledge.

We do not manage investments on a discretionary basis under our flat fee planning model. We ask you to manage them. Though we do provide guidance on the portfolio to own to meet your goals.
If you'd like us to manage your investments, then we can under our RIA which uses Charles Schwab as a qualified custodian. We would transfer accounts to Schwab and list them under our Investment Adviser if we were to manage your investments.
We can also help on a non-discretionary basis (meaning we only make trades with prior approval) by shifting investment accounts to Schwab and list them under our Investment Adviser.
Discretionary investment management (where we make portfolio and investment decision on your behalf without prior consent) comes with a different fee schedule too. You can learn more about it at kswrightassociates.com.
